Create a logo

Create an effective and successful logo

The Logo is a fundamental component of a brand, it serves to create the identity of the company through colors, symbols, characters, and allows you to be unique in the sea of competition.  Its importance lies in being able to convey the true essence of the activity.

What makes a logo effective?
To be effective and remembered by the consumer, a logo must be:
1. Simple
2. Easy to remember
3. Eternal
4. Versatile
5. Appropriate

1. Simple
Simplicity makes a logo easily recognizable, versatile and hard to forget, it allows it to be unique without being full of unnecessary details. All that is "extra" must be eliminated, intricate and complex details must be avoided.
The colors do not have to be many, 2 are few but 3 are too many, have characters that are easy to read and, fundamentally, the logo should be able to be inserted in a flat geometric shape to make reading and remembering easier for the consumer's mind.

2. Easy to remember
Useful for the creation of a logo can be the use of elements that relate to the work of the company, or at least culturally connected. But the most important detail is to focus on an original design, with a strong impact and - once again - simple, which is imprinted in the mind and never goes away.

3. Eternal
You don't have to try to copy the most famous and fashionable brands at the moment, you have to create something that retains a sense even in 20 years. In fact, good design does not fear the passage of time.

4. Versatile
The logo should be designed in vector format in order to be editable to any size. Vector graphics are a technique used to obtain images that can be zoomed in or out without loss of detail. The logo must also be valid in black and white. In the future, it may be necessary to reproduce it on an advertising billboard, such as on a business card or a small gadget… a logo that is too rich in details would be practically unrecognizable; It is important to carefully manage the elements that form it to ensure that it is clear, legible, identifiable in every situation and format.

5. Appropriate
The logo must be appropriate to its potential audience. Bright colors and childish details are perfect for a toy store, but certainly not suitable for a company that sells technology. The logo must be consistent with what it represents, but the logo does not necessarily have to explicitly show the activity of your company.
