Although Google has released the new version of the tool, Google Analytics 4, already in 2022, many specialists and numerous companies continued to prefer its predecessor, discouraged by the changes introduced. Universal Analytics passes the baton
Google announced the farewell to Universal Analytics on March 16, 2022, almost a year and a half in advance, to allow its users to prepare properly for the change. To switch to GA4in fact, it is not only necessary to make a backup of the previously collected data, but it is important to become familiar with the new tool.Â
Analytics 4 in fact it introduces a series of innovations that need some time to be understood and mastered. At the same time, it becomes essential to start recording data on these new parameters as soon as possible. What changes
Compared to Universal Analytics, GA4 introduces new metrics, eliminates others (such as the bounce-rate) and reshapes the functioning of some pre-existing metrics.

Let's assume, as often happens, that a user uses different devices during the day, moving from the PC to the tablet, to the mobile phone. In reverse, Analytics 4 is able to monitor the navigation of a single user across different platforms and devices. The data collected are therefore more accurate and allow you to "follow" a user in his navigation on the web.Â
